Sound interests me because I love anything remotely mathematical. I see sound as a graph or pattern to be discovered, as well as created. I am interested in existing repeating patterns that I then insist on, becoming the basis for the sound that I enable. This journey started with the Minimalist Composer Steve Reich and his dive into 'Phasing', in particular 'Come Out' and 'Piano Phase'. In early 2018 I experimented with the techniques and scores of Reich.
